Michael Madanly is a Syrian basketball player who led the 2007 FIBA Asian championship in scoring with 33.1 points per game.[1] He is best known for being one of the best Syrian and Asian players of all time. He was raised in Al-Jalaa Club in Syria, one of the most prestigious Arab basket-ball clubs. He played for a few years with Al-Jeish (Army) Club in Syria but was transferred to Al-Jalaa once again, where he achieved a lot. In late 2011, he signed a 4-month contract with Foshan Club in China because of the current political situation that was preventing the Syrian Basketball league to start.
